THE ROLE OF CLUSTER IN THE DEVELOPMENT OF AN INNOVATIVE ECONOMY IN THE REGION

Abstract

The paper, basing on the an example of small and medium-sized businesses, proves that the interstitial of clusters enhances the effectiveness of measures aimed at development an innovative economy in the region; reduces the period of its transition to the innovative way of development; facilitates the formation of the "core" of the economy of innovation type.
